INTRODUCTION:
Pakistan (Urdu: پاکستان Pākistān), officially the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, is a country located in South Asia(part of the Indian Subcontinent ) and is at a pivotal location at the crossroads of South Asia, the Middle East, and Central Asia.It has a 1,046 kilometer (650 mile) coastline along the Arabian Sea and Gulf of Oman in the south, and is bordered by Afghanistan and Iran in the west, the Republic of India in the east and the People's Republic of China in the far northeast.
CREATION:
Pakistan was created on 14th August, 1947. The creation of Pakistan was a result of the long struggle by the Muslims of South Asia. The struggled was majorly lead by Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the President of ALL INDIA MUSLIM LEAGUE.
As the Pakistan was made, the Muslims living in India, started to migrate to Pakistan to save their souls and faith. The Indian Hindus and Sikh started looting and killing the migrants. Over 500000 Muslims were slaughtered by the Hindus and Sikhs.
After Partition, a Commission was established for division of Assets belonging to the Government of India (before partition) to the both countries, Pakistan and India. But the establishment of the Comission wasn't fruitful as Pakistan didn't get his Right. So, from the beginning Pakistan was a very poor country. But Jinnah lead and helped Pakistan to be a Country.
Pakistan was consisting of Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan, N.W.F.P., Bengal and Kashmir. But Kashmir was occupied at the very beginning by India. So, Pakistan also became incomplete.
POLITICS (from 1947-1971):
After independance, Muhammad Ali Jinnah become first Governor General and Nawab-Zada Liaquat Ali Khan became first Prime Minister. Jinnah died with a serious disease in 1948 and then started the falling of Pakistani Politics. Liaquat was assasinated in a public meeting in Rawalpindi. In 1956, Pakistan's name changed to Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Then martial law was declared in Pakistan. In the first instance President Iskander Mirza abrogated the Constitution in 1958 and declared Martial Law over the country. The second instance was when General Yahya Khan declared martial law in March, 1969 after Mirza's successor, General Ayub Khan handed over power to him.
Because of these abrogations of constitution, the rebellions started to get power. In the Bengal, rebellion Mujeeb-ur-Rehman made Awami League (means People's League} with support of India and local Socialists and Hindus. There was a lava of anger against the Government hiding in every bengali because of corrupt establishment. In West Pakistan, Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto failed all the tries for Re-Conciliation and Re-Union of both parts. Mujeeb-ur-Rehman successfully directed the rage against Pakistan. He took help from India and made a rebel group named MUKTI BAHENI (means Freedom Fighters). India supplied weapons and training to them. In the mean time Government mis-handled the issue and fully neglect all ground realities. Then India attacked East Pakistan to back the rebel. Rebel also took place in Army and Government. Every non-Bengali was being killed furiously by rebellions. Jamat-e-Islami and Is
lami Jamiat-e-Talaba (in Bengalo, Islami Chaatiro Shingho) then struggled to save Pakistan and prevent Fall of Dhaka by helping Pak Army. They formed Al-Badr and Al-Shams which were consist of pro-Pakistan and pro-Islam Pakistanies. They sacrified their lives, families and every thing they had for their homeland. At 16th December 1971, the General Niazi of Pakistan Army surrendered to India. He didn't only surrendered Army, but he also withdrew himself from hundreds of thousand lives of patriotic Pakistani depending on him. 1971 was one of a DARKEST YEAR in the history of Pakistan.
